Anyone have anymore info on the new uniforms mentioned in the Palm Beach Post article?

Who doesn’t love new uniforms? UM will have an updated look in 2014, though James said a design has not been finalized. James said he gets a lot of fan feedback on what UM’s look should be, and anticipates UM’s longtime uniform partner, Nike, will create an eye-catching update. He wouldn’t say what elements the uniforms would incorporate, but made it sound as if the same colors — green, orange and white — will be featured.
“I don’t want to stir up the fan base and say we’re going to come out and look significantly different,” James said, “but I’ll say our look even better next year than this year.” Expect a big rollout this summer.

I liked the early 2000 uni's. The one's we have now are god awful though.

A few things here......

Nobody on this team really deserves to wear these. Maybe Duke. Same with the 2000s unis.

Nobody current or future will care for these. Other than the old heads who won't be playing anytime soon.

They are awful compared to even the modest unis out there.

Design needs to be retired, point blank.

Fresh look is necessary. Don't want to live in the past, let these kids move the program forward with new unis.

I liked the early 2000 uni's. The one's we have now are god awful though.

I said this on another Uni thread: Wear new unis, no matter how great/putrid, that Nike puts out--"innovative", with however many combinations (including different helmets). But have Nike also design some throwbacks for big games. Come out against VT in the 2000 unis. Come out against FSU wearing the late 80s/early 90s unis. Come out in the Ted Hendricks specials for homecoming (like we did against UNC a few years ago).
