Really solid work and insight, especially his shot at the end at local schools there "do your job" in regard to losing players to non PAC 12 schools.
you can tell he has massive quiet confidence in the messiah

I was going to post the link, but you beat me to it!

FWIW, here is a synopsis of the interview:

- Coach Croson was surprised Kayaa was named starter, but not surprised that Brad has done well since his arrival at Miami;

- BK is a good learner/listener; diligent in studying his craft;

- BK has played in a lot of high-pressure games (16 televised games); spotlight is not new, but obviously magnified now in college;

- He has great mechanics, and has worked hard to develop them (allows him to make throws almost effortlessly);

- Miami (especially Coach Coley and later Coach Carroll) pounced on him early in the recruiting process, which allowed them to build a good relationship before the west coast schools began showing him attention later in the process;

- BK had a lot of pressure late to stay out west, but the QB situation in Miami was appealing (thought to be able to study under a 5th year senior at the time);

- Year-round games/7-on-7 work helps California develop quality QBs;

- Coach Croson expects Kayaa to succeed because he can focus on the task at hand vs. worrying about the bigger picture (large crowds, season's success, etc.);

- Will go through growing pains in dealing with new defensive schemes, but he will find a way through those times.

Good summary.

i really thought that you could almost hear some of Kayaa from his coach. Very matter of fact, quiet but confident cool. The influence was there. That's the sign of a true coach.

Coley found this kid early which gives me hope that he can identify quality QB's, now he needs to develop the talent.
