Apologies if there's already a thread on this, but are we expecting any additional HS signees on "traditional" National Signing Day? Thanks in advance!

Also, can we sign anyone if we are maxed out on schollys before any current players actually leave?

Per 247, we currently signed 27 HS players but not sure how the numbers work. Do any of the early enrollees count towards the current year?

Initial counter limit on signing classes isn't a thing anymore.

From a scholarship perspective, the only thing that matters is staying below the 85.

There is some board debate/confusion about when, exactly, teams are required to be below 85. However, the prevailing notion is they must be at or below 85 enrolled players at all times. The word "enrolled" is not to be confused with the word "signed", which is an important distinction because we have 10 signed c/o 2024 players who will not be enrolled until after the May transfer window.

According to @GojiraCane, we are at 93 scholarships (+/- 1), but this figure includes that 10 summer/fall enrollees (put the current number at 83).

Technically, any kids we might sign on Wednesday would not be able to enroll until summer/fall, so they wouldn't impact our scholarship numbers until after the May transfer window.

So from a scholarship/roster perspective, the only thing keeping us from signing any new players Wednesday is our willingness to tell more players currently on the roster to hit the road post-Spring.

Unfortunately, we hit 25 initial counters, so we can't sign any other student athletes until 2025.

Zion, Flowe, and Citizen are like extra signings!
