There seems to be information that has Fenton as being part of the class regardless how things shake out with Marcus Lewis etc.

Hopefully this is true and if so thats a relief.

I think we would be happy with a class of:

CB-Lewis, Fenton, Jackson
S-Quan, Knowles

That would take away a bit the sting of losing Irvin, D. Davis, & C. Davis, and not offering Hoggins.

My bad I should have mentioned I read it while visiting another site. Bakas from TOS who is usually pretty reliable.

Also mentioned that Sapp, Lewis, & Scarlett will end up here while Chatman, Calloway, & Cager probably won't.
 
If Lewis comes so will Cager and vice versa, I don't agree with Bakas on that one

All in all considering our situation that would be great, but I still doubt it. I think we miss on Lewis, but I will take Fenton. Knowles however did somewhat make up for losing Irvin. Missing on Irvin is a disaster from a PR and football angle, but I like Knowles more as a pure safety. Irvin would have been a decent safety but I think he would have been a lethal punt returner for us. Fenton is a decent player, but at this point we should be ecstatic to get him, at least we fill depth needs.

That is fine with me, need Scarlett because he is elite and at a position of need, same with Lewis, you just can't teach those measurables in a corner. Sapp seems whatever to me as he is small, but he has talent and we all know we need that. RS him and see what happens.

after watching Cager how heartbroken he was picking the U i think on the offical visit to bama with his parents it may open thier eyes and he may decommit. Lewis will then go the Michigan. If you want to know if Scarlett ends up here. watch sam bruce. as soon as rumors starting flying bruce became 60% committed. i feel scarlett will come here with Walton though but Scarlett is really contemplating his decision. i honestly believe no one wants calloway but us. he kinda has no choice but us. but Calloway is a player where they need depth and not a top target like we are making him. Chatman is a huge lost for us if he does leave but its hard to keep a kid that talented under wraps. Sapp is not coming here
 
Should be an interesting month 4 sure. Cager & Lewis are a package deal so will see how lewis's official goes. Scarlett is the wildcard that will make or break this class.

In a local bball tournament near my house apparently Sapp told the host team's players he was going to TN, and he was in the dunk contest and played Rocky Top while he was doing his dunk.

My buddy also knows Marcus Lewis, last he told me was that Lewis told Cager the night before he announced basically said "you go, I go" referring to Miami, then went on to say the next day it depends on his visit, and if he hears what he wants to hear. Basically just clearing the air on questions such as RS or no, safety or corner, meeting the other coaches and players. But now that michigan has Harbaugh, I wouldnt rule them out nor Kentucky on Lewis. But if he comes, Cager comes for sure. Not sure vice versa is a fact.

Just based off what I know directly, another guy on here has a son that plays for the bball team that Sapp told he was going to TN, (the hs is in tn where he was playing fwiw) and reading the texts between Lewis and my buddy.. I just think your source is guessing, no real intel on it. But recruiting is all guessing until pen meets paper.

Even worse we should make it our business to lock carol city down, they got plenty future ballers at that school wilder is one of them, by the way i hear the wilder kid is somebodys lil brother i forgot who tho if anybody got that info pass it along.
