If you watch that play up close George could have been flagged twice. When he's running he grabs the players jersey and pulls him back and then blocks (Legally in my OP) the other defender on the side. I don't think he needed to do either. Strep was scoring.

Saw the jersey pull thought we'd get flagged, then the block....Couldn't celebrate the TD until the extra point

I don’t get this line of thinking. It seems like y’all hate that dude just to hate him.

X probably wouldn’t have scored you can see both defenders closing the gap quickly and y’all would’ve been complaining about JG’s lack of effort and how he should’ve blocked for him.

also i've watched sam brown miss those blocks ....
 
Dumb play on the X 60 yarder at the end. Great effort but lucky he wasn’t called for a block X didn’t need. However, overall great game. Had that one tough drop, which wasnt even receiwed (I thought it was close), but another amazing catch on the sideline and generally kept his emotions in check.

Every Canes fan was on pens and needles during that play awaiting a possible flag. Theres nothing wrong with calling that out, I was shook too and justifiably due to our history with refs. I LOVE Jacolby George but he does LIVE on the edge. He yanked that dude back by the collar 😂 and used that momentum to catapult himself into the chest of the other defender for a legal block that X didn’t need but I loved to see. Love the effort but that dude loves to play with fire 🔥 literally and figuratively.
