Here's a little bit that I could see from that last 11-on-11 vid:


Pre-snap defensive formation:

- 3 down linemen + McCord at Jack
- DP at Mike
- Thurston at OLB
- Fentress at Nickel
- Howard, Carter, Dallas deep
(That's 10 players - missing somebody I can't see from this vid, maybe a DB since it looks like we're in nickel?)

Post-snap:

- 4-man rush, cover-3
- DL (Kamalu, Wyche, other DE) crash down strongside
- Thurston pinches off the edge
- McCord spies Kaaya and runs with him on the rollout
- DP at Mike takes TE man-to-man on intermediate cross
- Fentress jams WR (Kidd), passes him off to Howard and covers shallow (gets blocked briefly by WR)
- Howard, Carter and Dallas play deep 3rds

Finally looks as if we as a defense are starting to understand our coverage concepts a lot better. No more open flats. Staff has the players to finally cover the flats and the middle of the field.
