This is a guy I've liked since his junior year at Jackson. He transferred to a better offense at Booker T and is currently the leading receiver in Dade. Syracuse commit.

Quick, sure-handed and tough with a solid physical profile (he should end up at 5'11, 185, 4.5). Has played big against the best competition, especially STA. Below are his junior highlights from Jackson and his GW touchdown against Asante Samuel Jr. earlier this year.

None of his tools are elite, but this is the type of guy who goes to a mid-tier school and ends up catching passes on Monday Night Football. Someone to monitor.

Harley or this guy D? Who would you offer?

Tough question. Depends on the rest of the class. Harley brings an elite trait (speed) while Johnson is the safer, better all-around player.

Either way, we need bodies so we should be keeping in contact with both of them IMO.

I like this kid. Reminds me of Calloway although Calloway may be a tad faster. My theory is if a hs kid is a legit 4.5 then with college training, practice and competition he'd become 4.45. This is where you earn your money as an evaluator and coach. Seeing a better talent where noone else does.

I think South Florida HS production translates to D1 performance. Sharon has put up good numbers...

He leads DADE and Broward with 34 receptions against some real good competition.

Have to at least one of Johson/Harley/or Ali get an offer soon? Maybe even a DJ Edwards?

One of those guys.
