Will seem like 7 years! I just wish it was 70 years,

Who else is looking forward to Labor Day?

If there was some chance Golden would be fired after the blowout loss, I would look forward to it,


But alas....

"We can still win the Coastal!"

"We can still win 8 games!"

"Third in the Coastal!"

Can't wait for labor day. Fitting all the hard work that Golden and team has done to get this point will result in a dominating win over UL.

someones ****** is super sore! If your that upset, there are like 115ish other teams you can root for. Its a choice.. Not sure how you can just be that negative all the ******* time.... And if you are paying a therapist you **** well better ask for a refund cause he should have prescribed a heavy dose of Xanax by now..

How about this?

7 weeks until we can finally start getting the answers about the direction of the program that everybody here wants. The first 4 games of the season will clear up a lot of foggy issues with the team. Then we can go from there and we can all be happy campers.

You forgot a few: "(any freshman name) is going to (fill in the blank with an unholy, magical capability), and we'll win ten!

"We finally have some real talent!"

"We'd have made up that twenty point deficit, but Duke was hurt."

"The players love D'Onofrio and they know he's a good coach."

and my favorite, "He's our coach, he's going to be here this year, and while it's one great big siht sandwich, we all have to take a bite to support the program!"

And if you draw attention to the same things the slurpers have been saying repeatedly, suddenly you're negative!

It takes a estrogen-heavy fan to make up excuses for **** poor performances. That's what girls do. They make up excuses. They are highly offended when someone points out something they don't want to hear.

So, sissy boys, just whine, moan, and keep making excuses.

The rest of us are tired of using our handguns as a remote after watching Miami get embarrassed time and again.

Go follow another team or watch the fishing channel or something. The real fans look forward to a new season of 'Canes football.
 
The recent requiting wave has gotten me very positive. I would rather hold on to that until we see the field play. Everything is on the line for the staff. If they step up to the talent level and bust some heads this year, the floodgates will open and the rest of college football will pee themselves. If staff fails, then I am for mid-season hire of Chud as new HC. That leaves enough time to save 2015 and 2016 classes. He can keep the best recruiters on staff and bring in some better on the field coaching.

I love so much about Al-- organization, class, management, and recruiting(I know we missed some)-- that I really want him to succeed. But I am not willing to wait another year to SEE the difference on the TV screen. It has to be this year and it has to be clearly better. I still tear up when I see picture of Al on the field with Lewis when he got hurt. My Lord, I want a coach like that. BUT this is THE U and we cannot get *****ed-slapped like we have. For now, I am staying excited.
