SEC is garbage

The 4th best team in the ACC took the SEC champs to 8 overtimes yet the SEC is the best conference in the world. When are we going to get over that perception. They are horrible. They can't even complete a forward pass.
Won't happen and the ACC does a horrible job promoting its brands. Tobacco Road runs that conference and none of the schools on Tobacco Road are football schools. Just an incompetent conference...

Why would they sabotage themselves? Take money out of their pockets?

Tobacco Road Mafia is just another boogeyman for our fan base. Reality is we've made bad hires time after time.

This fanbase, always looking out when the problem is within.

Exhibit A

If the only commitment to football at Miami is dependent on Mario, the devil is us.

The sec champs curb stomped the team that is currently winning the ACC championship game.

Also, the SEC went 8-3 against the ACC this year. That conference is miles ahead of us, an overtime rivalry game doesn’t change that.

Yes, because one game says everything about both conferences.
Op used one game as an example of why they are overrated, did you call that out as well? (I didn’t read the thread because op is stupid). How about the other 10 where they went 7-3?

ACC championship game isn’t a good look. SMU and weak conference schedule is getting exposed,

No, I called you out. Do you think one game defines two conferences?
No I think 11 head to head does though, but I’m also not the one trying to argue for our mid tier conference with a loss as proof of something it isn’t either, so I wouldn’t have made the original point in the first place.

So you’re on board with three loss teams getting in ahead of us. Good to know.

I’m probably a homer, but after watching this weekend’s games, I don’t see any team I’d be scared of. We obviously have our own issues, and we wouldn’t be favorites or front runners, but we could beat every team in that tournament. Which is what makes last Saturday beyond sickening.

Miami dominated Florida in their house.

Florida was dominating UGA until Lagway got hurt & a third string QB transfer from Yale had to come in for UF. It genuinely felt like Florida was going to beat Georgia handily until that unfortunate injury.

GT played an eight OT game against vaunted UGA (and really should have won that game).

Clemson had one really bad game at the beginning of the season when their offense wasn’t clicking. Clemson is far better than the result of that first game indicates.

Teams in the SEC are on average about the same as teams in the ACC this year. I’ve seen enough SEC games this year to see:

1) Texas look like absolute trash on Offense at times

2) Carson beck throwing 3 INTs in a row twice (almost every time I watch them)

3) UGA’s vaunted defense getting skewered by Alabama (yes, looking way worse than our defense)

4) That same O that skewered UGA’s defense got 3 whole points against a mid to poor Oklahoma team

This has nothing to do with merit. I’ve been shocked at how average SEC teams have looked this year.

Sec is the better conference. ESPN says so.
