Why does college not charge a timeout when an offensive player gets injured with 2 minutes left in game? Ville benefited with an extra timeout because of that. That rule should implemented immediately. It’s a free time out for a team right now.

Well if they are truly hurt then they are going to miss multiple plays anyway
Yup, if they are hurt or even possibly hurt, they should sit out a series anyway to get evaluated.

Some guys will always try to play through injuries. I dont think coming out for just 1 play vs coming out for the series would change that behavior at all. It probably is a POSITIVE thing in regards to injuries and definitely a positive to on field play.

Lol this will be arbitrary. There's all kinds of stuff that doesn't look like an injury but is.

I remember Steve McNair playing against the Falcons hurt his calf after a play just standing still and then took an innocent step back and that knocked him out for a few games.

Require players to miss a quarter, series, or a larger number of plays when there is a stoppage of play.

I've always wanted a 30 second rule.

If you're hurt, you/your team gets 30 seconds to remove you from the field of play and tend to your injuries on the sidelines.

If it's a serious neck injury, they get the ambulance and gurney and that player is done.

Have a cart at midfield ready to shoot out there and have the injured guy jump on. Backup comes in. Keep playing.

Or like rugby. They play around you and you still count as one of the 11.
