Been pretty adamant on how I feel about the team for a long time. Doesn't make me less of a Canes fan but just a realistic one. Was on the Golden train until last year (even have one of those white T-Shirts with the orange tie). Could absolutely seeing us going 10-2 as well as 6-6. Offensively, we have championship talent. Coley has to show us a lot more in his play calling, 3rd down conversions and sustaining long drives. Too much vertical and lack of adjustments. He is the biggest liability on the offense. On defense, we lack talent and D'Onfrio has yet to show us any promise in 3 years. With that being said, just don't see him making major progress this year which will lead to mediocre results again. Coaching is the biggest question mark where we could see the swing up to 10-2 or 6-6.

Louisville - close but late mistake in 4th gives game to UL. Hard to pick us here with bowl game memories
FAMU - no explanation needed
Ark St. - will be a lot closer than we want it to be but find a way to win.
Neb - our best game of the year as we wake up from Ark St. Peleni is a coach and they have had a lot of preseason injuries. Coley goes nuts
Duke - close but Cutcliffe finds a way to out coach Golden
GT - CPJ isn't fooling anyone anymore and their defense might be worse than ours last year
Cincy - Close but feeling that we find a way to win although not pretty
VTech - Beamer is a better coach is owns us in the last decade (3-7 against them with 6 home games and 4 away)
UNC - toughest game to pick but with our unproven defense at the time of me writing this I have to go the other way
FSU - they are deeper and more talented
UVA - grease fire situation and could be playing against interim coach. close for a half and we finally put a team away in 2nd half
Pitt - ugly win for us but our speed gets us this W

If we win tomorrow, the sky's the limit for our potential - 10 wins becomes a real possibility.

But if we lose, this season is gonna get real ugly.
