He will be put on PUP (physically unable to perform) the start of the season....automatically missing the first 6 games...he is running and starting to get his speed back..and he is able to make cuts...Steeler nation is ALL behind SS they are hoping to see him fight his way back from such a devastating injury.

After his PUP stint...he will be evaluated and see if he plays at all in 2013....My guess 2014 is looking better..

Great news. Hope is able to make it back, either this year or next and keep getting tenure towards that pension

Sean Spence was the one shining beacon of light during the Reign of Randy. Probably the only guy he ever brought in that knew what being a 'Cane is all about. Hope he makes it back and disconnects some necks on Sundays.

The fact that he's still going at it and they didn't waive him off means (to me) he'll likely return.

Nice work!

if there's 1 thing that the steelers are known for, it's their linebackers. hope he can back to 100% & they can develop him into his fulll potential

God bless the man. Prayers being sent his way. He will be back in a Steelers uniform. The guy has too much heart.

I'm a Ravens fan first but good luck to him

He didn't injure his best attribute, which is between his ears. Praying he gets back to where he needs to be.

Of all the guys on these previous cupcake teams, this guy was a baller and deserves nothing but success. Hoping for a speedy recovery!

Steelers are one of the few franchises that show how a organization should be run. Great owner and great coach.
