Miami Basketball has faced tons of challenges this season, leading to a 4-12 record. Tonight, the stakes are raised significantly. At 9:00 p.m., Miami will compete against the No. 3 team in the land with the Duke Blue Devils hosting the Canes.
Before the Canes tipoff against the Blue Devils let’s take a look at the Duke Blue Devils personals.
Scouting Starting 5
#1 – Caleb Foster
6-5 – 202 – GUARD – SOPHOMORE
6.3 PPG, 1.9 APG, 1.6 RPG
• Point guard runs the offense
• Right handed make him go left as much as possible
• Switches on defense make sure to get a miss match
• 0-3 from his last two games shooting behind the arc
#5 – Tyrese Proctor
6-6 – 183 – GUARD – JUNIOR
11.1 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 2.2 APG
• SHOOTER!! Go over his ball screens
• He shoots 45.3 % from three at home
• Need to disrupt him and make him uncomfortable
• Run him off the line
#7 – Kon Knueppel
6-7 – 217 – FORWARD – FRESHMAN
12.7 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 2.8 APG
• SHOOTER!! Need to go over his ball screens and get up on him when he has the ball
• Shooting 36% from three
• Run off the arc, make him go to his weak hand
#22 – Cooper Flagg
6-9 – 205 – FORWARD – FRESHMAN

• Best all around player
• MUST BOX HIM OUT
• Your not going to stop him but Canes will try to disrupt him
• He has a really good pull up game
• He could play anywhere on the court
• Very vertical and athletics guard/forward
#9 – Khaman Maluach
7-2 – 250 – CENTER – FRESHMAN
8.8 PPG, 5.9 RPG, 1.1 BPG
• Must pressure on catch with active hands
• Likes to pick and roll need to call it out and if the Canes want to switch on his screens
• Be very VERY physical with the big man
• Keep him between you and the basket
