I think Golden said for away games this year will be White tops, orange pants.
I would love to see us in all green with our green helmets we wore a few years back.

Go look at every heart wrenching loss we have had in the past 15 years. Almost everyone is wearing that green shirt. And the only real identity that has transcended the program is the white helmet, so why mess with it?

Yea, we were spectacular last year wearing nothing but orange and white.

i don't really care if they played in potato sacks as long as they win. i don't think it matters to them either. i was just curious if anyone knew what we were officially going to wear.

Miami wore all white at BC, white jerseys and orange pants at K-State, and Orange jerseys with white pants at Georgia Tech. The road combination that hasn't been used yet is white jerseys and green pants. Those green helmets you mention were part of a one-time only Pro Combat uniform (that was awful) and won't be worn again (thankfully). But whatever Miami wears, it'll look a whole lot better than what Notre Dame is wearing.

Id be down for our all white Nike pro combats from Wisconsin champs bowl. I know it won't happen but still would be own. I hope we go with all whites though we look so fresh and clean in them, especially at night.

The white on green and green was legit. I don't know why it really matter that we stick with orange I'd rather wear a different combo every week.

Why rock something that is 30 years old? I don't mind tradition but I like new stuff as well. I think a lot of kids do to. I'm only 21 so maybe my train of thought is just different then most older fans

Real talk, WTF was ND tripping on when they saw the model for these unis. Your telling me they saw those helmets and jersey design and said "straight, down with those they are awesome looking can't wait to wear them"

It wouldn't shock me if Golden had the boys come out in throwbacks.
 
Some of you must have missed it when Golden said no more green when he took over. Home is orange on white. Away is normally white on orange with the occasional stormtrooper. Since we already went stormtrooper for BC I'm guessing this game will be white on orange.

I'd give my left nut to see us come out in unis that look like the 80's unis though.
