Sanders wins the Unitas award for best qb…

GT loss killed him.

Winning a national championship can make a lot of people regret their votes. Let’s see how bad this team wants it.

I’m not a fan of individual awards but I will say this.

Actually one possession did it.
If Cam took us 80 yards on the final GT drive, he’s right there with Hunter.

Hunter had 10 catches for 116 yards and 3 TDs on offense today. Travis Hunter will win the Heisman, probably in a landslide

I think it’s clearly hunters. As bad as I want Cam to win, and he his a Heisman caliber qb and has had a Heisman level season, Hunter probably has earned it

With that said, and all of these awards, I hope these snubs are truly bulletin board material for the team. The nation hates Miami and the bias is so blatantly obvious.

Should be plenty of motivation for this team

I'm all for padding stats. Wouldn't y'all do the same??
Only reason I would say no, is because if we lose Cam to injury trying to pad stats we’re ****ed. If Colorado loses Travis to injury padding stats then he still goes 1st round and they’re still out of the playoffs regardless. Us winning the ACC and a playoff game is more important for our program overall.

The worst thing about this thread is how many so called Miami "Fans" are gargling Hunter's N**s. We know that the media narrative is "It's Travis Hunter's Heisman to lose", but you'd think that some of you would also see through the absurdity of it all. Travis Hunter is over here stat padding, on a team that is built like a Pop Warner team: Get the ball into the hands of the only two guys we have worth a **** and do it as many times as humanly possible.

I can make a case for Jeanty to win the Heisman, same for Cam. Hunter's entire candidacy is based on a gimmick. He's an above average corner and a good receiver. Travis Hunter is what would happen if X didn't have to share targets. Never mind the fact that Travis has fewer picks than Meesh Powell.

Travis is most versitile player, but is he the best player? I know 100% he wouldnt elevate Miami like Cam Ward has, and if you take Sanders off Colorado they are a 6-6 type team.

Bro I love Cam and I wish like **** he would have won it, but unfortunately I think they definitely giving the Heisman to Travis Hunter
While I’m a huge Cam fan and bleed Green And Orange, the Heisman is supposed to go to the BEST college football player and, sorry, but there is no doubt that Travis Hunter deserves it this year.

Cam has had a great statistical season and he should not be disappointed with his season. He will win at least one post season award, including ACC POY and possible #1 NFL draft pick. I would love for Cam to win the Heisman, but I am thrilled that the Canes have a chance to win the ACC for the first time. If that ACC championship doesn’t happen, then, and only then, I will truly be very disappointed.

Let’s go out and beat Syracuse and get a naty!

I kinda felt that the Heisman was in the back of the mind of everyone on the team, including Dawson and Cam.

With the loss and Hunter becoming the public/media favorite, I’m expecting this to allow the team to just play ball. I suspect we will come out and play better team ball the rest of the way.

Maybe now with the L to GT and the award snubs this team can get down to business the rest of the way. F the noise. Win.
Pretty pathetic that it takes losing to GT for the 2nd year in a row and some award snubs to get this team focused on the business at hand
