I guess that he was caught with marijuana plus Adderall and Vyvance which are botch Schedule 2 narcotics (other schedule 2 narcotics are cocaine, opium, oxy). If homeboy didn't have a prescription for them, he could look at some serious charges.

Watkins and head coach Dabo Swinney both released statements through the school on the receiver’s legal situation.

“I am aware of the arrest last night,” the coach’s statement read. “I am mad and hurt by the poor decision that Sammy Watkins made. He is a good young man who has been a model student, citizen, player and teammate.

“This is a reminder that good people make poor decisions. But, there are consequences for your actions…and there will be in this case.

that doesnt matter because if he was a cane and we had a real coach.......he wouldnt be on the team right now

You don't think Dabo and the fools he recruits enabled Sammy's behavior? If we were talking about a cocaine habit, Miami might not have been the best place for him. But the exact kinds of Schedule 2 drugs this kid was taking don't exactly scream "party animal."

but the point is that when you have coaches who arent complete mopes and actually try to set good examples.......getting arrested for anything wouldnt be good for them

a college kid who smokes weed isnt exactly a big deal......nor is it uncommon......but in many programs........arrests get you kicked off the team

When the officer pulled the car over in a parking lot off Common Court, he smelled marijuana. During a search he found marijuana and two pills for which Watkins did not have a prescription."

Then again, if the temporary license wasn't illuminated, sounds like a used car. Would still be interesting to see what kind it is. Where's that Yahoo reporter...?
