Did Miami back off or did they see what you seen ? We don’t need more slow dbs we need to get faster . It was like watching a video game this year dbs getting left by 4.6 running backs or even worse qb who run stride for stride with them who run 4.8

It's not an excuse it's just a fact lol. I didn't say it was right just simply telling you what UF and other schools have mentioned to our recruits and prospects.

I agree with all you’re saying especially in regards to uf. It would be ignorant to think otherwise.

My regards were to sec in general as a whole. It is more appealing to recruits but from the fan side you do have to take account the perspective of the sec as a whole and we did handle our buissness this year with them. Go do it again convincingly next year and it becomes a solid selling point.

I think this is a nix concern not a Stubbs concern. I dont think they "backed off" I dont think they were willing to overpay.
Guidry has to go imo. that being said how quick people forget their defenders winding up in bushes.

I just don't get what your point was? LSU and Ole Miss are good teams. UF beat them. They have wins vs good teams, which is what I was responding to.

UF is meh. What does that have to do with my comment that you quoted?

Beating a meh team that beat a good team doesn't mean we beat a good team lol

Ole Miss is fine but LSU is not. they lost to USC.

Did not back off. He got a hefty pay day. Can't blame him

It doesn't help that safety play has been atrocious and Zaquan doesn't see the field and *I think* was rated higher than Stubbs.

I see the tools with Stubbs but as Cribby mentioned.. I saw him live too and was overall unimpressed. I saw him 2-3 weeks after Cribby told me the same thing and have the texts to other posters on here post dated early October plus Cribby's from mid-September.

We're going to have to wash our hands of the stench of our defense quickly or we might not land anyone in the portal either. A playoff bid might do more harm than good for our portal efforts if it delays the inevitable for Guidry. The negative recruiting is ****

I agree. Guidry HAS to go and I think he will.

That being said, I have seen this with Stubbs before. Haselwood, Matthew Thomas, Cormani, Terence lewis. these types of kids dont pan out. do it like Gavin Nix did.

Exactly man you would have sworn they were making a playoff push with the amount of fake hype they pumping like they don't consistently average 6 or 7 wins each year lol. And Lagway throwing under 200 yards but people think he's Caleb Williams already

Look Napier just out a huge target on their bags. Every week people are going to try and destroy them. He’s in year 4 pitching it like he is a new hire.

Yeah I Agree he needs to be fired and sorry we need to hire db recruiting coaches . We’re entirely young slow at every position and won’t recruit dbs well at all .
