Since it is FSU week I'm going to bring up this point. They just got dropped in the BCS even after a dominate win over a terrible team. The nation wants to see Oregon play Bama. That being said, FSU is going to have the mentality that they must run the score up on everyone they play. We have got to get out of the gate quick to avoid being style points for them.

You think Jimbo didn't know how the BCS works when he consciously made the decision NOT to run up the score against NCST?

I am not sure how Al will address this issue once we're up by 30 in the 4th quarter. My guess is he will pity Dumbo and call off the dogs, which may hurt us in the final analysis if Bama and Oregon finish undefeated like us.

They were #2 over Oregon by a miniscule number. Oregon played and beat a better opponent. Had nothing to do with style points.

I think he only did that to save face because they specifically asked him about it this week. You don't think 63-0 and leaving your starters in until the 4th quarter is running up the score? Same thing with Clemson. He has already started it IMO

If Oregon wins out they will be ahead of FSU, it's just that simple. The only way FSU can stay in the picture is by killing teams. we are the only team FSU has left on their schedule with any SOS benefit, and they are favored by 21.

So you must not be a Jimmy Johnson believer, can't have it both ways.

Maybe both teams and Alabama should worry about winning out first.

Nick Saban hasn't had an undefeated season since 2009

Oregon hasn't gone undefeated since.....

FSU duh duh duh....

Also, most important ADAT.

Even Jimmie put in second and third stringers, he just kept running his offense. This team has a 49-0 lead and the starters were still in throwing the ball around.

Bottom line to me, we are the Canes and cannot allow that to happen, we need to bring it, keep it close and then steal it on a wide right at the end, that would be a climax.

Oregon jumped them because they dominated a very good UCLA team, not because fsu called the dogs off vs NC Taint

I've never had a problem with anyone running up the score. It may influence poll voters, and may even get you to the championship game. But running up the score on Maryland won't help you against Alabama.

Look at Baylor. They are scoring points by the boatload. However, the next 3 games for them are going to be the reality check many have been waiting for.
