Ummm the kid hasn’t even committed yet.

What a moronic thread regardless of outcome.

LSU insiders saying its foggy, out insiders don’t know, but suddenly in your eyes Rumph has redeemed himself?

Picking up a guy that LSU wants, but just kinda sorta wants.

We have 1 CB signed. Rumph, or anyone else, should easily be able to pull this off.

Win a big name guy from the big dogs, like we did with Deon Bush, and then I’ll be impressed.

He needs MJ to sneak into the 1st round...

Kids want to know you are developing players into serious draft picks.. Its the reason Cory is so well known and respected because he is known for top draft picks
Yeah, MJ isn’t sneaking into the first round. Might not even be second unless he dominates the combine.

LSU folks think it's Miami my man.

Thread premature tho....

Matt Miller has him projected in the 5th round as of now so yeah I doubt that happens.

We need corners. Rumph has done a pretty good job at coaching corners, and has been hurt by the unfortunate loss of Malek Young, but he's got to find a way to stock the CB room if he's going to continue to have good corners to coach. We had a pretty nice haul last year, although missed on some elite talent as well.

I personally am a fan of Rumph as a technical coach, based on the results so far, but he's still got plenty to prove.

Now is not the time for either "side" to be spiking the football and doing the Snoopy dance.

To quote the GOAT - "Do your job (well)."

If he runs a 4.4 with his height and decent tape of INTs from his JR year watch out..

the combine is an amazing thing where Corners, Safeties, RBs, and WRs can really move or kill the needle on their draft stock
