We have 1 CB signed. Rumph, or anyone else, should easily be able to pull this off.

You can argue Rumph has the toughest recruiting battles out of any other position coach. Everyone comes for SFL dbs and he has to fend them off without the help of bags.

Matt Miller has him projected in the 5th round as of now so yeah I doubt that happens.

This entire staff has a lot to prove regardless of who signs on NSD.

We need corners. Rumph has done a pretty good job at coaching corners, and has been hurt by the unfortunate loss of Malek Young, but he's got to find a way to stock the CB room if he's going to continue to have good corners to coach. We had a pretty nice haul last year, although missed on some elite talent as well.

I personally am a fan of Rumph as a technical coach, based on the results so far, but he's still got plenty to prove.

Now is not the time for either "side" to be spiking the football and doing the Snoopy dance.

the combine is an amazing thing where Corners, Safeties, RBs, and WRs can really move or kill the needle on their draft stock
