Ice was suppose to help with local recruiting, yet he didn't do ****. Same **** is happening with Rumph. Richt needs to make a change man. Our CB recruiting is embarrassing

Nevermind that our Corners are playing well over expectation...because that doesn't matter in position coaches or anything

While I agree with what you're saying overall...

Edwards in particular wasn't on him, that was Banda... Banda was the one recruiting Edwards & it was Banda that tried to sell him on playing FS when he only wants to play CB.

However, Rumph hasn't done sh*t either, so I don't disagree with anyone that wants him gone.

9 months into his tenure and he should be gone?

Rumph's got a new pitch. He's been saying lately that he'll gladly take maybe as answer. Dude's shook.

I'm not talking about his coaching abilities

You either have it when it comes to recruiting or you don't. It doesn't take that long to evaluate

He's had Corn Elder playing as a first rounder and Colbert/Redwine playing a lil above average, that's way more than I expected. He may be a sh.tty recruiter but he's done a **** good job coaching so far

I agree with this. I've ripped him before due to Heritage kids ignoring us but he's exceeded my expectations in his coaching abilities. That group is doing well considering the depth and talent.

Do you want a recruiter or an actual coach?

Ideally all of our coaches would excel at both, but I like what I'm seeing from our corners. They're defeating blocks and tackling well (better than our safeties, honestly). After Corn gets that first-round signing bonus, maybe Rumph's sales pitch will carry more weight. We've got two strong CB prospects coming in (Dallas and Bandy). If we close with Henderson, that's a solid haul.

Luckily we have banda here to cover for rumph, coaching wise our corbers have played great, but lets wait till the end of signing day to judge rumph

Lmao!!! You still think we have a chance with Henderson???

He is doing a great job as coach and recruiting does not always show fruit in 8 months. Give him a chance, he is a cane to the core. Have some loyalty

Woah - corn was a star athlete before rumph ever knew who he was? Plus, he was our top CB last year.

Give credit where it's ******* due, Elder looked nothing like this season in the past. Hater.

Could be worse. I could have made a thread asking if Miami fans could use Richt giving the players bibles as a way to fire him

Exactly. Some of these guys act like Corn was some sort of journeyman gimp coming into this season. Anyone watching knew he was an elite player.

Redwine isn't playing above average. And neither is Colbert.
