After a great Thursday practice where the defense won according to coach Cristobal, DE Rueben Bain spoke to the media on everything from his body transformation to the new defensive scheme. Here's what he had to say:

Sports at the collegiate level or beyond when they talk about weight. I don’t think y’all truly understand how hard it is to put on weight when you are naturally skinny at 18-20 years old. You can lift and eat all you want, but when you are conditioning/running every day it’s extremely hard to keep weight on. Yes some kids don’t put in the work you need to gain weight, but also don’t bash kids when you have no idea how hard it is for some of them.

I heard Lightfoot name mentioned in last weeks scrimmage. Seemed like he had a good day and got reps with the 1s
