RPI at #54 (2/9)

Holding at 50 after the win over NC State.

We have 2 wins over Top 50 RPI teams (Duke and NC State). 4 wins over Top 100, adding in Florida and Illinois.

Are we in line to make the tourney?

Lunardi has had us in as a #11 seed ever since the win over Duke. We didn't drop after the loss to ND, so I'd say we're on the bubble, but bubble in at this point. We should beat Syracuse, but a loss wouldn't be the end of the world as long as we sweep the next week (GT and FSU).

Thanks... if we can win 3 of the next 3, it would go a long way in case we sputter in mid Feb.

I feel like bracketology lends as much credence to potential as it does resume.

In that regard, I think an rpi of 50 isn't too damning since this team has the talent to make the sweet 16.

These next few weeks are huge for us. The next 10 games 8 are more than winnable.

We needed to beat GT and Free Shoes. Those were gimmees. That FSU game, a team with a combined IQ (including Hamilton) in single digits, was a season ender. Letting that inbred *** freak (that Mexican looking 7 footer with the Polish name and three eyes) mock us was beyond disgraceful.
