He finished with 14 **** sacks and didn't even play a lot the first 4-5 games of the year while only being a red shirt freshman.

With any coaching this kid is a borderline generational defensive end talent with his traits and productivity. Fire Diaz/James and get a staff that can get him to 17-18 sacks next year and be a Heisman finalist. He's going to be too good to waste.

If he didn’t play in the first three and “a lot” in four and five, are you implying his sack average per game would go down playing a full season with better coaches?

If he was starting from game 1, he'd be the best in the country. Also, we might have pulled off a win in the first two games.

Miami has done well with the taller DEs over the years.

Stork, Calais Campbell and now Rousseau are a pretty good trio.

Can't complain much about the DL play and recruiting while Diaz has been here.

PPG Allowed is the most important metric, of course, but we showed a lot of improvement last year - especially with being the top in the country (I think) on 3rd down conversion.

Looking forward to whoever the next big-time producer is for us at DE - maybe Chantz Williams in this year's class will be the guy.

I'd literally fire the entire staff just for taking 5 weeks or whatever to start him. That's all you have to know about this dumb staff.

Don't expect those numbers next season man it's hard to replicate such a monster year
He might, he barely played the first 5 games and still has those ridiculous stats. Then you are going to have a dend that was rated even higher than chase young playing in jaelan Phillips who has already put on good weight being at Miami. Now THATS going to be exciting to watch

Hey Manny, here's a start... Keep GR15 at DE and stop playing him out of position. We don't need him at DT and in coverage. Thank you.
