Roughing the kicker

Just back to hotel now and can comment. We were sitting not too far away, and this was one of the most ridiculous calls I have ever seen.

The game was such a blowout that you wouldn't thnk it matters. But we were getting the ball back. Instead they drive down and get a TD. I there such a thing as losing all the momentum that early. Maybe.

I don't think we stopped them on one single drive. Not one drive. Every time they got the ball, you knew they were just going to march down the field on us.

Even in garbage time, when they weren't even trying to score and were just running the ball every down, our defense still couldn't stop them from scoring.

Actually UM ran into the NCST kicker last week, after the defense held on a rare 3 and out. Although it was a blown call Terry had no business anywhere near the kicker last night. That has got to be communicated from the staff. Aside from Dorsett's huge drops that was a real turning point in the game.

Just crazy stoopid play. Set up for the return. Gonna get the ball in good field position. How many times can a team shoot itself in the foot in one quarter of football.

ND outclassed us, so I'm not making excuses, but that was another one-sided ref job. The amount of holdings not called on ND, and then called on us on every kick return, was absurd. ND got away with anything they wanted last night, including blatant PI, which was actually the DB grabbing Duke (I think)'s facemask on a play they ruled a catch before overturning it because it hit the ground.

It was a bad call since the rusher was pushed into to kicker by ND blocker. ND always gets the calls as they can hold all day but we get the flag when Morris scored.

Anyone see the block in the back on the Cierre Wood score where Gunter flew out of the screen. The only way he flew was pushed from behind. Refs suck but we need to execute better (catch the ******* ball).

I wish he would do it (designed or just leave) 4 times a game. Kid has wheels and is tough.
