With all this talk of Renewed uniforms, attitudes, tradition, etc, it has come to my attention that an important discussion related to the history and tradition of this board needs to be renewed - The ******* over of the WEZ.
After bouncing around from site to site, quietly following recruiting, I spent some time in Ferman's house of cards looking for a place to talk Canes Football. The Yahoo thing happened and I visit this place as I was familiar with the One Brow Wonder, back when he was less accurate and a lot less arrogant.
I find a diamond in the rough in CIS. I start posting, I quickly find a thread I was in moved to the WEZ, I get negged for *****assness and I reflect. Yes, indeed I was a *****, and a negging was well deserved. I grew from it. I learned. I am now the pain in the *** poster I am today. Thank you WEZ.
All of a sudden, m's are lost and we are canesinsight.co, the WEZ is split - Times have changed. The balance is gone. There was no longer a place to send people for self-regulation, veteran mentoring, fun and ****ies. I now had to go somewhere else for that.
Why? ---- Business. We all understand business. First rule --- don't go into business with friends and family.
The WEZ is family, but was tossed out in the name of business. Crumpled up like a receipt from a strip club atm hoping no one would find it. It had served its purpose. Money withdrawn, admittance secured, now hide the proof.
The WEZ is owed an apology!
I, for one, apologize for not appreciating the work you all put in before many of us got here. I may not like how some of you express yourselves on this site, but I respect your position.
