crazy era... you got a top center at Virgina, that is leaving just to join I'm assuming a top10 squad....

thank god Miami woke up... because this arms race is going to just get bigger and bigger of a divide

Overall spots and needs would be one reason. Thats not to say we dont end up taking him if he wants in, just that are a ton of holes to fill.

Yeah, but why not us?

If we pull a few key transfers and stud, game-ready frosh, there is no ceiling to what we can do next year.

I know everyone will warn to pump the brakes and so on, but nah....

If we fill the key holes and get the level of coordinator it looks like we're going to get, we have an excellent shot of going 11-1 or 12-0, winning the ACC CH GM, and then perhaps get exposed in the 1st round of the playoffs, but even with possibly getting exposed in the 1st round of the playoffs, we will have reset the entire system to what it should be.

So, any stud players in the portal who would become a starter here, should think long and hard about joining the Canes. We will have more media coverage than anyone, including Bammer, and those transfer players will have every opportunity to get noticed by scouts and also NIL deal makers.

Oh, I wasn't saying that we weren't a suitable landing spot for him.. My point was we have players leaving "decent" Mid-Tier programs (ie: Virginia), just to upgrade even more.... I get kids leaving Buffalo/temple/fiu's of the world.. but mid-pack ACC teams... pretty crazy..
