In place of the coach worn down by the Nevin Shapiro saga by the end of last season was one who told schools bashing Miami with recruiting allegations, "get your licks in now."

Replacing the coach who sagged at a 6-6 season after the loss to Boston College to end the season was one who said, "it's time we started thinking like Miami Hurricanes and got rid of this inferiority complex."

signing a kid up against Bama and ND. my dude. crown this man.

WHen I saw Alabama and ND hats, I won't lie. I thought no way.

AG getting work done.

Once we get the pass rush to go with the DB's we've got and are bringing in, it's going to be a beautiful site to see.

Told y'all...stop questioning this man when it comes to recruiting. On field performance is fair game at this point, but it's a fact that this dude is one of the best recruiters in the county

"Are we not supposed to beat Alabama, Florida, Florida State down here? Five rings in that office down the hall … that's what we're trying to get back to. Add those guys together they don't have five rings. Let's be proud of who we are. We're not a large state institution. We're a private institution. We have everything you could want in a college town coupled with anything you can want from a cultural aspect of a city. Plus an education, 20 students in a classroom, small campus setting. That's hard to beat. We have to start thinking like we're the University of Miami again."

This is THE EXACT MINDSET GOLDEN WANTS TO GET RID OF! this right here

It's not a mindset, it's an expectation and until proven otherwise there are tons of alumni who think the same way. Frankly, I don't pay attention to recruiting because they ain't Cane's until they step on the campus and show up for practice.

I like what he's doing, but frankly what will you do if this kid flips 2 days before signing day? Myself, I'd be disappointed, but it doesn't much matter to me personally. Some of you are more emotionally invested in this than most of us are. Good luck with it.

I am more interested in pads on shoulders players. The one's we currently have. Don't think that getting big time recruits is meaningless to me and others, but it's nothing I'd pay scout or anyone else $0.01 to garner 40 min prior to some schlep in Alabama.
