Reggie Northrup Update

He said he had a good time and is just taking these final visits to make sure he made the right decision committing to the U. He will vist OSU next weekend. And then will announce his final decision on NSD

Others say he's wide open among four now

Would not be shocked one way or the other

Yeah like phy said I'm just going wait til NSD to get excited. Kid has been giving off bad vibes lately.
 
A lot of those other sites know as much about recruits as the Pope knows about fornicating.

Since we have no choice, let's just wait and see.

A lot of these things seem to work out for the best in the long run anyway.
 
Northrup sounds likely to stick. It just sounds like he is doing his due diligence. There is nothing wrong with that.

I'll probably get hammered for this, but I actually wouldn't mind if we lost him because of the LB talent in the state next year. There's got to be at least 5 LBs in next years class that are far more talented than Northrup...and most of them are in south florida.

i kind of agree with you but you never know what can happen next year but it won't be the end of the world if he doesn't commit

The problem with this strategy is that we need linebacker help right now. Can't keep putting it off.

Exactly. Bird in the hand.

And northrup is as good of a linebacker prospect as you can expect to land.

I kind of agree with you. We already have witt, kirby, and terry. Mccord can also play LB. next year we have a shot at thomas, deeb, and williams.

I will be happy if northrup comes here but i wont be ****ed if he leaves either. Unless his choice is free shoes u.
 
If we run a three four,
We need three more next year

Don't forget high school LBs can grow into DEs and FBs

Where is Duval? I figured he'd be in the first couple of posts. Must not have seen it yet cuz he's been saying Cane lock since Northrup started wavering. Hope he's right.
