NEWS: Reggie Bush is suing USC, NCAA, and Pac-12 to seek compensation for past use of his Name, Image, and Likeness

Now imagine the flood gates if this goes in his favor? For the law gurus here, what are the odds he wins this?

Didn't he already get compensation? I thought that's why his Heisman was stripped and USC punished.
It all came from the Larry Lake (or wtf his name is) dude. Reggie got his Heisman back (I could be wrong)

Good ✊🏿💯

It will settle and you'll never know the terms.

Except he'll get his heisman back.

NCAA will fold. There's too much heat on them in the courts right now. I don't see how they survive all of it without an act of Congress.

Have to disagree. You can't retrospectively go back and ask for money because the landscape has changed. Where you draw the line? How is a school going to pay NIL to past stars while also paying for current players, and vice versa. Think ruling in his favor would be an absolute disaster.

bingo. plus the statue of limitation has run.

**** him. he cheated per the rules applicable then. he deserved what he got

He will also have to deal with “laches and acquiescence” which is a legal doctrine that aims to prevent unfair legal outcomes due to a person’s delay or inaction in bringing a suit.

I think this suit is for the posthumous removal of his awards and status on the USC team.

On the new Heisman House commercial, they’re goofing on him being in a “deep freeze”

It would be like Nicklaus and Palmer suing the PGA because winning money is now in the millions for a tournament, and they helped build the game.
