I saw enough of Campbell to honestly believe he will start day one....the kid has pro measurables already...with the best closing ability I've seen this year...makes it look easy out there...his speed and length easily translates....kinda like Henderson with better cover skills...IMO

Lol there is a lot more than speed and length to playing cb. If size and speed was all it took to start as a true fr, teams would just recruit 6'1 high school sprinters and stick them into the lineup.

Dj is the best pure cover corner in the state, barely edging out Samuel. Csmpbell has the higher ceiling of course, but he has to prove it.

That's the key. If we get him, I think Campbell starts early on as a FR (if not day 1). I like Ivey, but I think he will take a while to adjust to the speed of the college game.

Lol at everyone saying Baxa will “contribute” he will either red shirt or be the everyday kicker which will force him to be an instant impact. Didn’t say that it would be a good impact but he will impact the score more than any listed signee.

That's the key. If we get him, I think Campbell starts early on as a FR (if not day 1). I like Ivey, but I think he will take a while to adjust to the speed of the college game.

At first when I read Campbell I thought you meant John and Thought you were comparing him to Seantrel Henderson and super confused why you were talking about closing speed lol it's late. Now I see Tyson Campbell and CJ Henderson is the comparison

Bubba Baxa will start....Jarren Williams will compete for the starting job easily....no redshirting him....especially since he will be in this spring....mark my words....all the DBs barring injury will have a role either on special teams or in rotation...everyone else i dont know untill they get here....

The freshman O-linemen will make or break our OL. Crazy to say but man we really need to hit our O-line and they need to be good almost right away.

Also our kicker will be huge. He also punts so hopefully he can be the next Bosher.

Dont think Rousseau redshirts. Hes an EE and were not exactly stacked. We cant really ever count on Patchan being healthy, J. Jackson, D. Jackson, Garvin, DJ. Rousseau and Chatfield will play.

Going to be interesting to see how QB works out. I got no doubt Perry starts, but who transfers? Sheriffs needs to be shown the door. Will Rosier stick around to be a backup? Will Weldon get out of the dog house?

I could see C. Davis at RB redshirting unless another injury at the position happens. Travis Homer, LinGod, DJ Dallas mixed in will hopefully be a great trio.

Of course I could easily see him as a contributer, maybe it's just me wishful thinking we can start to get some solid depth there.
