The best part is we can greatly improve offensively.

Red zone touchdown percentage is one of the most critical statistics in football.

Chart No. 1 illustrates the red zone offense touchdown percentage.

Chart No. 2 illustrates the opponent’s red zone touchdown percentage against the listed team.

Chart No. 3 ranks the teams with the best difference. For example, Michigan has scored touchdowns on 82% of red zone opportunities and limited opponents to touchdowns on just 40% of red zone opportunities. Thus, Michigan has a difference of +42, which leads the nation.

11 teams in the current Top 25 standings rank in the top 25 of chart No. 3, which illustrates overall red zone efficiency.

Highlighted teams indicate teams in the USA Today Top 25 poll.

Que nights with this as proof positive that Tubbs is better than Golden, because Cinnci is ranked 8 spots better than us in Off/Def redzone %.

This is interesting to see with the FSU/Clemson game on tap as well as our game against FSU. Definitely going to revisit this thread after each game to see what can be extrapolated from the data.
