I'm just tired of all the complaining. It has taken over so much that we can't even enjoy the 2018 class we do have. I understand concern but the sky is not falling. I'm the sure the coach's have a plan.

Exactly Man, ungrateful ******** be happy with the kids we do have and the kids we will land . People just love to be miserable
At this point mfs just beating a dead horse, staff knows they need to add to the position but it’s no need for people to keep mentioning it in every thread...

That’s why there was a separate thread made for it. Additionally, if you don’t want to deal with these complaints, you can stay out of this thread and focus on the threads of players we’ve already signed/still recruiting

There are a lot of DTs out there. Let's not act like Miami can't close on 2 DTs by NSD. Keep in mind the entire coaching staff can descend on just DTs at this point.

I was referring to Nadeb Joseph, not Wilson, but we may regret not taking both if we strike out at AH.

I generally am happy with the direction of our program. One could easily counter my previous questions with their own; is having our best season in 15 years good or bad, is winning a recruiting battle with Saban for Hall good or bad, is having our best DT this year (Willis) available next year good or bad, and finally is playing in the ACC's premier bowl tie in good or bad?

Those are all reasons for us as fans to have hope for the future, but that doesn't mean everything is perfect in recruiting right now. We are losing some momentum. Fans are upset about that. There are some valid reasons for concern right now.

Also, just because we exceeded the previous bar of 8/9 win season, doesn't mean we should strive for anything other than a National Championship. We are Miami for Fu:cks sake, let's start demanding/striving for more from our coaches, players, fans, and recruiters. That is all. I just want Miami to really.....be back

I believe we all want to be back really badly, I stay in kkklemson country. They run their mouths nonstop, I tell them to keep the same energy when they revert back to the program they've always been.... and they will. The tide is changing brother!!!

With all the crap we have gone through the years a normal Canes fan can look at the class and say "Man, THIS CLASS IS AWESOME!!", but some realize the reality that if it not like Clemson, UGA, or Alabama ESPECIALLY in the trenches we don't have much of a chance to legitimate beat them.

This is why I stress the importance of having a elite OL/DL and S&C coach/program because if we're not going to hit on those 4/5 star studs then we better have people who can develop the 3 star guys we do get like a Wisconsin, Michigan State, Virginia Tech etc.

We all know that RJ and Kendrick were both super highly rated, top 5 DT prospects when they signed here.

The reason why I complain is this, I've a Miami fan since the day I was born (1986) when we had our best teams we were the bullies in the trenches. So while our staff is doing great in recruiting at any other school it would be enough, but if we want to beat the big boys, we need the big boys ( and I'm talking big, strong, athletic up front). Sure, we'll be good with what we have, but to be great we will have to address those trenches where everything starts.

I not saying Miami is perfect and everything is great in Coral Gables, BECAUSE we know our Canes have to improve and get some much needed help!! BUT it's crazy that everyday on here, we see supposedly UM fans on here just whining about something it's never enough!! As of RIGHT NOW to finish strong for Storm18' our staff needs to add 1 or 2 stud DTs (with Nesta), 1 more stud OL and get Campbell and this class is a great class!! For me with what we have signed already, I'm amazed because Miami had a lot of commits being pursued by power 5 programs and our Canes only lost a recruit, who wasn't solid from the day he committed "no matter" how many times he said he was solid!!

This Miami team is definitely getting better with this Storm18' class and it's at a very high level...

****Coach Kul is recruiting and going after studs at the DT position, for some reason they're playing hard to get BUT I definitely believe Miami will close on 1 or 2 more studs/solid DTs to finish off Storm18'****

I agree!! BUT for some fans, the way they complain you wouldn't know Miami just WON 10-games, you wouldn't know Miami signed all the studs they signed for early signing day!! We have to understand our staff is going after those same recruits all the big boys are going after, and Miami have won a bunch of those battles (just look at Storm18"), BUT for some reason at DT our Canes can't pull them in by the boat load!! Come NSD Miami will have the area covered!!

I just don't like the way our fans complain about everything, reading some of these threads (a stranger or new comer) would think Miami must be playing in a Toilet Bowl... Last year Miami won 9-games, this year Miami won 10-games things are looking very positive moving forward!!

Some will probably say "NO", but I know better!! The only thing our Storm18' was missing was BIG NAME DT signees.. BUT Coach Kul will get those for the next NSD, and we will try to add a few other studs to finish the class..

You were born in 86.. so you don't know much.. interesting so when you were 5 in 91 what do you remember? you were 8 in 1994. Most of your adult life what I'm saying is we haven't been good. 2003 you were 17 .....
