As good as Duke was here, I wish we could see him in Richt's offense and under his staff. Duke, like Denzel, Hurns, Dorsett, etc. were great players for us but were on some really ****** teams. It doesn't diminish what they did individually, but I always have to wonder "what if" when it comes to them and a competent staff. Duke was a nightmare in HS!

I still miss seeing him in a Canes uniform. Seeing those highlights makes me think how much better he could have been here if he wasn't a part of Alfrauds fattening program. He was definitely less explosive at Miami than his highschool years. Good thing is he seems to be gaining that explosion back in the pro's. Hopefully he tears it up this season and has a great career.

Grateful for Duke who put playing at Miami ahead of playing for a scrub like Golden. Duke, unlike most kids these days was knew where he wanted to go, was loyal to his commitment and stuck it through the Golden era while playing himself into the pros. Unfortunately, he ended up in Cleveland.....

Greatest hurricane of this era hands down literally carried and tried bringing miami football back by himself. Even threw up the U when he scored his first nfl touchdown.

I'm greatful for making Miami football watchable.

And I wonder if people used to say "but that stiff arm won't work in college"?

I went to school with Duke...he was stiff arming DT's and DE's to the point we knew he would do it greatly in college also. Dude still does that **** in the NFL lmao.

I'm honestly upset that his stiff arm on madden isn't over 90 (petty I know)

Such a talent. Moss was really primetime. Any time he touched the ball you knew he can take it to the house at any point. Miss these kind of players.

I hope he commits and signs with us..... The U! We just got a commitment from Mike James. Hopefully Bryce stays with us (He hasn't signed anything yet that I'm aware of) and we get Lamar as well. Can you say stacked?

Why would anyone want to be a gaytor when you can come to one of the most respected programs today, The U.

i wish he was comeing to the U too, But miami and florida have stopped recruting him, because he doesn't have the grades to make it in, plus rumerd he has too bad shoulders and they don't think he could take a pounding on a college level for a season. he probably will go to WVU anybody get in there LMAO

Horrible... Anyone whoever saw PD play knew he had 4.3 speed. Greene was a high 4.4 and PD was burning him. Some people can't judge talent. South Florida keeps speed.

Duke was the only reason we manage to stay remotely relevant the last half decade. If he would have flipped I doubt golden wins more than 3-5 games a season. I'll never forget Dukes first game at BC. 2- 50 yard TD runs to save the save the day.

You mean, Duke with a Coach who knows how to use a great RB? Duke without unnecessary weight imposed by a crap coach? Duke on a team that was not forced to pretend it liked its staff? Duke with a staff worthy of his talent? Duke who's effort against FSU in Tally would not be wasted and would end in ANOTHER great victory instead of a broken leg? That Duke?

Duke was a extremely rare combo of talent, devotion, work ethnic, and loyalty, and love of school that we might ever see again. Given all our greats, Duke might never have been the greatest Canes ever but he is my favorite Cane ever. Love that kid.
