The recruiting class is seemingly falling apart with both Nix and Stubbs flipping within 24 hours of each other. How is this possible? 10 win season mean nothing? Or is Mario and Co shifting recruiting plan to focus more on portal and less on HS kids?

It makes no sense that Napier is on an absolute burner and we still don't know where the bottom is. Something is resonating with these recruits that is being peddled by other programs. Napier is taking Mario's lunch.

Combination of UF being willing to throw money around right now where as they weren't before Billy went on his little end of year run and Miami not being willing to overpay. Throw in the fact that Guidry has had this defense looking as bad this year as we've ever seen at Miami and it's not a shocker to see why we are losing defensive recruits. Hoping this humble pie Mario is taking on the trail leads to early aggressiveness in the first portal window.

if folks wanna have a grown conversation .... i wouldn't send my son to play for guidry based on what i saw ... the only defections are on the side of the ball that was trash

This isn't that difficult. Here's a picture to help:

The Stubbs one hurt. This feels like the sky is falling due to Cuse loss. But we shouldn’t be surprised to lose a couple. We’ve been working on flipping other top programs guys like Alford. Sometimes we going to end up on the **** end.

We’re going to have some painful portal losses too. I do think it hurts that some of our flip targets were in D and seem less likely due to the catastrophe that was our D performance and the uncertainty with Guidry

Also being fair, that is some serious turrd polishing. 7-5 is still 7-5, despite the window dressing anyone puts on it.
I'm not attacking you - I hate the Gaytors and I have a migraine today. I think I'm gonna start my period anyday now.

Wrong. Not all 7-5 records are created equal. UF finished with the 23rd SOR. Against their schedule, 7-5 is a solid performance (even more so after taking into account the injuries)

lol stay off twitter.

Gators are spending money on recruits and money on hype tweets.

To create this illusion they’re a program on the rise.

Most of these “flips” are 3* and 4* that other teams weren’t that upset about losing.

The only 2 players they got that were actually the type to get hyped about are Stubbs and the DE from Penn State.

Do you identify as a Cane despite being a Gator?
7-5 is 7-5. Yeah they had some nice wins. They also had some lousy losses - those count too.

BTW, "Wrong" is a terrible way to begin a dialogue with anyone. Are the Gates the only team we need to "take injuries into account"?

NIL, agents, "representatives" have changed the game. Relationships less important to many of the blue chips. It's all about $$$
