We lost to a National Title contender and are 7-1. It was painful, the loss of Duke Johnson more than the undefeated record in my opinion. But from the way these forums sound you would think we were 5-3 or something. Get it together Canes fans!

Time to switch gears, BEAT TECH!

Play like a Hurricane from here on out and we'll get another week to talk about FSU.

I think most fans who were grounded and didn't get soaked up into thinking this was 2000 and believing we were a legit nc contender knew it would be an uphill battle to beat FSU in their house. The loss sucks but I'm more than happy at this point in our rebuild of winning our division (which should be come a yearly given from here on out) and play tough against FSU in the rematch.
 
Yea, I've said it before. We're prob 2 years from title contention and this year has been a pleasant surprise. Moving forward! I think Morris, for whatever anyone thinks he's worth, is good for at least 2 immaculate TD passes a game vs any defense. I don't think Tech can hang with us. As long as we control the QB scrambles and win the turn over battle I think we win soundly Saturday night. Sucks, I agreed to go camping with my buddy like 6 months ago Saturday night. I won't know the result til Sunday evening because the ground we go to has no cell reception. Arrggh!
