I knew KSU was the better team going in. I am not one of those delusional fans thinking we have a great team this year. I was secretly predicting 5 or 6 wins this year. I didn't want to get blasted for being negative so I never posted a prediction. My main goal was to win 6 games so we can get the second and hopefully last of the bowl bans out of the way.

I really hoping we could be competitive today. I figured it would could "hang" with a top 25 team on the road with freshman and sophomores we really have something to look forward to in 2013 and 2014. I honestly believe we be 4 wins BETTER next year. So if we somehow able to win 6 or 7 games this year we can compete with for the ACC championship next year.

However being 4 games better then next year might only be another December bowl game.

/we lost to Cuse 61 to whatever and won a big game a week later and dominated the bowl game so you never know

Have to agree. I said 6-6 was about what this team could do. I did think, however, that they could compete with KSU and be respectable. Gonna be a loooong season.

hope we can do 6-6 so we can so no to the TOILET BOWL. 2012 is a huge uphill battle

Depends on coacehs and team and perhaps NCAA? KSU Snyder always tough especially at home. We obviously need some leadership and schemes that might fill present deficiencies. I didn't see a lot if any no huddle spread today? I think we need to stay on an up-tempo O, score a lot, and figure we will with no huddle vs playing conservative tempo. Get D on TO path... only chance. Pull out some special teams tricks.. fakes, reverses... and scramble no huddle to thow when in run yards, and get Duke outside quickly or for some laterals from inside receiver. Li:neonu:ke I said, it all depends on some creatvie thinking and those applications now. Nothing else there. GO CANES!

I expected a rough year, but a smarter and more physical foundation. There's no hint of that now. Fisch sees demons that aren't there and the defense lines up passively with wide consistent splits up front, defensive backs barely within the TV frame, and no threat to vary or disguise anything, let alone the potential to disrupt. Right now the program is fine other than we lack 12 first round picks, that annoying NCAA attention, and a bland home neutral site dozens of miles from campus.

I expected a tough year but I'm never really ready to accept that. This game was the acceptance of they, if only for today. Today was tough, and maybe embarrassing at a school level. We may have been destined to lose from play 1 but not like that.

We looked lost from the kickoff to the final second. I thought the days of getting blowed out by average to above average teams was over. Reminded me way too much of the Shannon years.

I had 7 wins coming into this year. Although that performance was a complete letdown, I'm still rolling with 7.
