Some real valid points made by @STG @DMoney @JHallCanes and others good discourse and sometimes it’s OK to agree to disagree and not let things get personal.

My question for you @DMoney is do you think our running game will be anywhere near as successful next year as it was this year? You stated several times that we have a good stable of running backs returning even without Martinez and a strong offensive line that as of now is only going to lose Jalen Rivers and Zach Carpenter. Rivers is a loss, no matter how we slice it but if we get Brockermeyer at worst will break even at center and possibly have a slight upgrade.

Losing Martinez will automatically make our running game weaker next year, unless we replace him with somebody close to his talent level. I’m not advocating spending a lot of money on a running back because I agree with you. There are other holes more prevalent to fill and we don’t have the money an Oregon has.

But the big issue as I see it and would like your thoughts @DMoney…IMO Cam Ward was as an important factor in the success of our run game this year. There was no way opposing defenses could stack the box against us because Cam was **** near unstoppable so that in turn helped our running game immensely. With Emory, Luke or a 2nd tier portal QB under center, our vaunted OL or the 3 headed monster of Lyle, Fletcher and Pringle wont have near the same success.

Thoughts?
