Coach Golden has mentioned this guy several times in the past few days, including this morning on WQAM.

Jenkins's development at safety is huge and a very pleasant surprise. When I spoke to him in June, he sounded less than enthused about playing safety. Hopefully, this early success will cement the fact that he's a safety in his mind.

CanesAreAble has been driving the bandwagon, and there is no doubt we can use his size and athleticism at safety and on special teams.

That isn't surprising to hear him say when there was numerous reports the kid didn't like playing safety/hitting and etc. It's nice to see a change in his attitude and hopefully he brings some playmaking ability to the position with added aggressiveness.

When you only take one safety and you barely have one combined on the roster, you better not miss.

Early but very encouraging about him.

Thank ya.

I'm a big fan of this kid. He's got a great frame for a safety, and he also has swivel hips. He also seems to attack the ball with an offensive mentality.

He could be a beast.

I've read a couple times about his playmaking ability on the ball while it's in the air. It must be the receiver in him. It'd be great to have an athletic safety who makes plays on the ball back there again.

I think I've been just as excited to see Rayshawn on the team as I was about Duke or any of the others.

Rayshawn's quiet. Just busts his ***, does his thing with smooth efficiency, and believe he's going to be a future first rounder. Doesn't get much press, but it works for him. It would be some kind of sweet if he could reshirt this year, but I expect he'll be seeing some action this year.

What I meant is that Deon told me that Rayshawn was going to play WR, not that Deon told me he was gonna play WR.
