Some of Miami's top targets and commits give their take on Manny Diaz being names the new head coach. I'll be adding to this throughout the day.

2019 3-star safety Martin Emmerson Jr.- "Man I love everything about it now just gotta find a great offensive coordinator."

2020 5-star wide receiver Marcus Rosemy- "I think it was a good move."

2020 4-star athlete Caziah Holmes- "I think its great now because the players already know about Manny Diaz and he will make the program better."

2020 4-star linebacker Jayion Mccluster- "Love it."

2020 3-star DT Elijah Roberts- "It was the next best thing for Miami. That's the best thing they could've done in this situation. This will probably help them a lot with recruiting as well."

2021 5-star DE and Miami commit Donell Harris- "This is great that we have Coach Diaz. I am very excited. Now that he’s the head coach, I wonder will still coach the defense. But so far I’m happy he is back."

2021 4-star OT Marcus Tate- "Shocked!"

2021 TE Cane Berrong- "I think it's a great hire! I haven't had much interaction with Coach Diaz but I do believe that this will keep some continuity within the coaching staff on both sides which I was hoping. I'm really interested to see who is hired as an offensive coordinator and the type of offense that they run."

At this point, best we can hope for is that the coaches can somehow convince TS and Bogle to sign here. Would be huge honestly. After that, I think we'll probably get the LB Brothers and maybe a couple of other lower ranked kids. Interested to see how Manny attacks this after the dead period ends on 1/10.

Bogle measured in at the army game
:6'3, 3/8, 212, 35.75 arm, 10 3/8 hand

Good size and really long arms, he will add weight really soon

Bogle needs to get in the weight room asap. If done the right way he could be about 235 come september
 
Those South Dade boys and Britt going to re-commit since Diaz leaving was supposedly the reason they decommitted?

Some thoughts from Te'Coury Couch:

"That's big," Couch said. "I’m just excited that he’s coming back. In my opinion Coach Diaz was the perfect hire just looking at what Miami wants to do with the football team in the future. He just keeps it real.”
Couch was asked to compare Diaz to Richt.
“Both of them are about business," he said. "But Coach Diaz is serious serious. He's all about business. There’s no playing around."
 
Two position matter at Miami if you want to win titles: DT and QB. Until we start landing Miami quality at those, we do not have right head coach. We got one DT recruit and one transfer like that in last three or four year(longer really), and zero QBs. Manny needs to get him some fast.

Couldn’t agree more...QB, DT’s and throw in OL.
