I'm officially sick of these local kids. I thought I was there 10 years ago but now it's unbearable. The disdain these kids have towards our Canes & the loyalty/love affair they have with other schools is sickening. I'm ready to revamp the the whole approach, results be damned. After all, you can't get lower than rock bottom. It is time to widen our searches. F these divas, their mommas, handlers & pet dogs too. Let's at least go down with our pride.

I keep telling people that Jimmy and Butch went through the same thing and had to go OOS. This isn’t new because things changed after Howard exposed this place. For a guy that Manny try’s to emulate in Jimmy, he does a **** poor job.
 
I completely agree with you, go look at Ohio State classes. they are focuses on getting the best players for their program. We need to adopt the same mentality. If a south Florida players want to leave great, there are a lot of talented players in the nation that wnat to come to Miami but we do not recruit them.

Im willing to give the mid star hardworking types a pass. The 5 star whores can get packing...

I edited my original thread earlier where I addressed that (I hate rambling too much).

No doubt kids have every reason to leave (and should).. my thing is they can do it respectfully. Seems like every recruit (or current player) has a chip on their shoulder w/ Miami despite them having their asses kissed & coddled. Unnecessary.

I'm ok with signing local, hard working kids.. just not the respect my decision types.

I actually think we lucked into a fantastic class full of great young men.

kids don't owe **** to a school that doesn't care about football and is ok with hiring mediocre coach after coach. You think they need to give their future to these staffs blindly, then you are dumb as ****.

Remember the ole Thrill Hill . . . if you don't like us dancing, don't let us score so much. If we don't like them disrespecting us, let's win and give them reasons to stay home.

From our end, we have to be taking care of business. I'm not talking about winning 11 games every year, I am talking about beating the teams that you are supposed to beat and at least playing to your talent level. I'm not even talking about overachieving. We aren't doing that. Once we are doing that, it will be easy as **** to identify who the real divas, prima donnas, duffel bag boys, and wannabe handlers are. But right now, we are getting dissed by everyone because we give them 8500 reasons to do so. That doesn't excuse their behavior of course, but it certainly helps to explain how our own performance is encouraging it.

Excuses excuses. I was working and paying for alot of my own **** at their age..
 
I had a chance to hang out with Lamar Thomas years ago. He told me that growing up, he was a huge UF fan. However, he said at the time, Emmitt was there and they were a run heavy offense. Conversely, we were winging it all over the place. So he made a "business decision" to come here.

ga doesn't even sign that many ga kids. they know the deal. easier to buy out of state recruits. I think they have only signed 2 out of the top 25 kids in GA

You do know the canes have sucked for almost 2 decades correct. These kids have never seen a Canes glory year unless they watching the U 30 for 30. I’m a diehard cane fan to the death and I dunno if I’d honestly send my kid to UM at this point. It’s like a graveyard there.
