This conversation is not about the opinion of those who don't think we should be ranked till we can stay rank. It is about the truth.

While the Canes are 12-3 and there are only 3 teams ranked with 3 losses (OSU, MSU and VCU), should we be ranked?

I think we should. Let's see if we can go from Nothing to Ranked #24-25 this week.

5-1 on road.
8-2 last 10.

Not a question of whether we should be ranked. It is a question of how high.
 
The loses to FGCU and Indiana State should have never happened. Another quality win should open up the polls.

Shouldn't have, but Indiana State is a Top 50 RPI on a neutral court and doesn't even constitute a bad loss. The loss to FGCU was an early season road loss and FGCU is still ranked in the Top 100 (#94, right above the likes of USF, Tennessee, LSU and Boston College). It shouldn't carry enough weight to keep us out of the Top 25.

While I can stomach not being ranked somewhat, the fact that we're so low in the "also receiving votes" category is just plain dumb.

CBS sports website you posted says we have the top SOS and 4th Rpi. wow. we should be ranked but i would love to wait to crown this team a bit after we beat down duke in the BUC just like we gave em a loss last year in Durham
