I would never hire him as LB Coach or DC.

I would consider him for an Analyst position to work with the LBers. He made Omar Graham look better Mauigoa by the end of the year. Which is truly something if you watched early in the year.

If he was hired he definitely would not be allowed recruiting or determining who plays.

Honestly it doesn’t even have to be him, find a good LB coach from the NFL who maybe between jobs and bring him in for a year for the express purpose player development.

Our defense would have been a much better compliment to out offense this year if Randy was the DC. I am not saying bring him back. I think his best years are behind him. But with him this year, we would not given up chunk plays with his cover 2 scheme. His DE’s also know how to actually set an edge. And of course LB play would have been better.
