1. We had two plays that should have been called safeties stolen from us (clemson and fsu). both safeties would have changed the course of the game. [sentence edited for clarification].
2. jacolby george is our most talented receiver. speed, route running, hands, separation, acceleration. he has all the gifts to be an elite receiver.
3. shannon dawson's run play calling needs dramatic improvement. i cannot tell you how many times he called runs straight up the middle back to back, with meager results. lashlee had the same issues.
4. notwithstanding the OL size, they don't get as much push as i thought they would. pass protection is elite.
5. if is see another predicable WR bubble screen a la Patrick Nix, i am going to vomit, but only after beating Dawson with a whip.
6. lance guidry's pressure schemes are elite. he disguises them well and they are varied, un predictable.
7. our two starting safeties were MEH, to say the least. good open field tackling, interceptions and pass break ups. just as many blown and stupid plays, not just the georgia tech disaster
8. lots of missed run fits at linebacker.
9. RT mauigoa's start had issues, to be expected. he got a ton better as the year progressed.
10. emory williams is a tough decent QB. missed a ton of throws because the ball slipped out of his hands.
