Good athlete. I wish he would learn to lower his shoulder when defenders come in for a tackle. He always tries to stiffarm. Dude, lower your shoulder and initiate contact. Someone show him Shockeys 1st preseason game for the Gmen.

Unsung hero along with O'Donnell last year. He WILL get drafted. Go get em bro!

With the NFL's love affair with 2 tight end sets, and especially blocking tight ends who can also stretch the field, I'd say with a good year Clive stands to get paid handsomely.

Something tells me he won't be buying expensive sports cars while making practice squad money ala Streeter.

Walford seems to be pretty well grounded.

Agree and disagree

It's fun to watch Shockey bowl over guys early but what isn't fun is watching his body deteriorate over the course of his career. As Shockey learned, nobody is invincible. That pounding comes back to haunt you in the end and even has the potential to affect your quality of life after football. Everybody has a clock and in football, that clock is counted in number of hits taken.

Not to mention, it's very easy for us to sit on the couch and say lower the shoulder. It's another thing entirely to have a 215 pound safety bearing down on you with his 4.5 speed on an angle.

Huge difference in his body from 2011 to now. Lack of upperclassmen playing will continue to haunt this team. Thanks, Randy

He's been almost really good for a year and a half now.

Time to put it all together. I think he will.

I know players like Duke are better.....but Warlord is my favorite player on the team. Dude is always moving those chains for a first down.

If he can get better at catching and get a step faster he's a 2nd-3rd pick.

I'm really over these raising canes things. Figs had one about him and his attention to detail. How he ties his shoes exactly right. If you do something do it right. Please! ******* loser. Who cares about blue he was jag. Figs coulda been special. Hope he meets up with some UF players in the joint.

Every single year, fans on the boards talk about how guys are going to get drafted and get paid. I'm not saying Walford won't have a good year and get drafted in a decent round, but he's not done much on the field for people to say he will get handsomely paid. People were saying the same thing last year about a few of the seniors and they ALL got drafted way lower than people expected or not at all. I wish Walford the best, and I know he hasn't had the best QBs while he's been here, but actually be a playmaker for us before we start talking about how he will get drafted and paid.

Sorry for the rant, it's just one of my pet peeves is our fans always overvaluing our players.
