"Miami is the first school to show me real interest on the o-line," Bruens said.

"I definitely want to commit before my senior year. My plan is to graduate early, in December time, get up to college early. I definitely want to commit before my senior season."

Some schools like Mississippi State and Southern Miss, have asked Bruens to camp for them this summer, but he hasn't made any plans to go anywhere but to the schools he has official visits set up with, and then potentially Miami if that gets set up.

Bruens is a multi-sport athlete with a basketball and throwing background. As a junior, Bruens averaged 11.4 points per game, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game, while also owning a 43-3.75 effort in the shot put as a 10th grader.

On the gridiron, Bruens has totaled 28 tackles for loss and ten sacks over the past two seasons. He also caught three passes for 69 yards and a touchdown last fall.

Accurate weights can be tough to get on these under the radar linemen...and is he potentially a center prospect? MArio seems to like the centers to be on the smaller side compared to the mammoths he likes elsewhere.
