Is jalen grimble a dt or de? Also who from last years dt class redshirt

Grimble is a DT and only Briscoe shirted.

I remember him having a cousin who was highly rated TE. I was watching the USC vs. GT game and noticed that Xavier Grimble was a TE for USC - same person? If so, I remember some saying they wanted his cousin too.

Didn't seem like a game-changing TE but seemed solid.

A player can not redshirt (not including medical redshirt) after they have played in a game. One play burns the shirt.

I think originally he was supposed to be a DE but lack of depth forced him into early burn.

He played DE mostly towards the end of the year, but he's a tweener - not fast enough for an edge rusher, and not physical enough for a 4-3 DT.

Yes that is the same Grimble related to ours.. not sure what this has to do with anything though
