Seriously! Why do we have to line up opposite the OT when he is split so wide? What the **** can he do from there? Maybe get to our LBs?
I'm thinking we should just line up inside the splits and go.
Can't wait for the half time adjustments!
Anybody?

if you go inside the split, all they have to do it have the tackle give a light shove to the end and push him to the guard, then run the ball around the outside. you never give up containment.

Leach runs those line splits and teams that tried that weren't effective. Not saying it wouldn't work today though. If we send pressure if try to send it inside instead of wide. Unless you get a sprintout tendency based on down and distance or formation.

Thanks 305. I'll take a better look.
