Never a good sign when South Florida kids start visiting Marshall. Time to focus on a JUCO kid we may be able to get into school, not that is the easiest.

Because they're impatient and can get to college sooner and have the chance to get to the league. At least that would be my guess. That, and if that's easy to get in, I doubt they have a strenous academic program for their athletes.

I hear ya. Marshall has a BS prep program (where Kevin Grooms went) where you are not eligible to play but take classes in some pre-college program. If you are sitting out anyway, go to a decent prep school (if you can) and take it seriously...go to a real school.

These coaches, parents and guardians blow...ship your kids to WV, great program.

Is this a case of grades or is the kid really not that good? I mean...he was an all world DL before the season and apparently he hasn't sniffed the field on DL...only on OL.

Doc Holiday obviously loves the kids like Grooms who are players but don't don't have grades......but he's recruited plenty of second tier kids that major bcs schools aren't really recruiting, like his QB commit from Boca.
