Yes that's exactly what he's gonna do or transfer to a school that will guarantee him a starting position without any competition.

You could find a hundred underrated QBs better than Sitoutski.

What we should do is find a lower level program that recruits really good unheralded QBs and poach their guy. Go get whoever Matt Campbell or Jeff Brohm is looking to sign at QB. Campbell is the guy who signed that badass Logan Woodside at Toledo.

I am still hoping Cade Weldon fits this mold as well. Need to tough QB.

I read it somewhere too it was alot of players wanting to transfer and play for richt before last season began kirby blocked miami and all sec schools if im not mistaken

If Kirby blocked this dude at year end he could lose his number 1 QB commit this year. No #1 QBs out of high school are ok with being a backup and if you already have 2 on your roster and the coach wont let them go anywhere why would you come? I get the block last year but going forward I dont see Miami being an issue with Kirby and especially not QBs. I doubt there has been any real word out of either camp about Eason coming to Miami or the coach blocking him.

If he let eason or any of richts former recruits leave to come to miami what kind of message you think it would send to the kids he's recruiting now?

If im Justin Fields and Eason transfers elsewhere im licking my chops thinking im going to pull a fromm and take over the qb spot after the spring (that is if he's an EE)

I think we go all in on Jarren Williams.


Figure ambassador Lingard, Pope, Jordan, and some of our other guys from the opening will help try and sway him, since they were all on the same squad.
 
These highly recruited 5* QBs that lose the starting spot and transfer nearly 100% of the time end up being average. They are leftovers for a reason.

Pass on the 5* and find a gem. There's plenty of them out there.

Mettenberger was pretty good for LSU after being beaten out by Aaron Murray. I think if Eason wants in you let him jump in and compete. If he is the goods you play him. If during practice it's clear he doesn't have it wish him well and let him leave to go to Oregon State or something.

If we gonna win #5 and beat the best you don't look for solid. You look for elite players. You want the starters, the winners.

Im not saying dont take a qb or Sits had anything to do with Eason.. but to say "why would we want Eason when we have Weldon" is kinda mind blowing that someones thoughts would process that.
 
It would have been nice to get an in-person look at Jordan Travis, Louisville commit. He plays bad competition at a private school in Palm Beach but has intriguing talent.

I agree, that's the guy. Hard to flip any QB this late in the game (unless a much lower tier school or Evan Shirreffs type situation) but I would assume his family has respect/admiration for Richt being from GA. Also Sumlin likely getting canned would obviously help. Fortin>>>>>Sits.
