Anyone else excited about Ryan Williams? Half sarcastic, but I'm really glad the Morris era is over....actually made me miss Jacory. How different is that game last night if we just swap Morris and Teddy? I really think we win by 2 TDs....

Do you remember how bad Jacory was in Whipple's last year? I still believe the biggest factor in play here is the change in OC from Fisch to Coley.

At least Jacory threw over the middle....kid just had a noodle arm. Either way, Morris limited us on offense with his inability to make reads. I think we got a team that game planned exactly to Morris's limitations and that games completely different if we have a competent QB
 
morris limitations carred over to the defense. he is 3 and out or turnover unless he gets a quick score. the kid is horrible. our time of possession is atrocious. many games our defense started well then got exhausted

Jacory threw a lot of picks over the middle. Under Coley, Morris didn't get a lot of opportunities to throw over the middle. Morris might not have looked great under Fisch, but he looked confident and comfortable. Coley didn't know how to use Morris and it showed. Morris never looked comfortable this year and his confidence disappeared as well.
 
Morris looked extremely comfortable with his baseball hat on. When it fit perfectly, he was as cool as they come.

A helmet was apparently his kryptonite.
 
If you don't have a QB, it is tough to win. Morris isn't good. Coley could have done a better job this year, but maybe he didn't trust Morris. Fisch as an NFL caliber play caller could hide his flaws alot better. I hope Williams is good, but I'd rather just go with one of the young guys. If Williams couldn't get a look this year, then he isn't the right guy.
 
he can keep his nfl arm because he is horrible. low football iq. i would take a guy like ken dorsey and his weak arm all day.

Coleys first year calling plays and it showed. Gave Morris no power or knowledge on audibling at the line. Morris has no clue how to read or react to a defense presnap. Mix that with the leg tap snap, and the defense can time exactly what they want to do against a poorly schemed offense. Recipe for disaster.
 
I'm happy as **** I never have to watch Morris throw another **** pass for us. Kyle Wright had better pocket presence...and that is saying something.
